Fig. 7. Anti-HMGB1 antibody treatment decreases hemorrhage-induced activation of NF-{kappa}B in the lungs. One hour after the induction of hemorrhage, mice were injected with either control chicken IgY (Hem+Cont Ab, 200 µg/mice) or polyclonal chicken IgY anti-HMGB1 antibody (Hem+Anti-HMGB1, 200 µg/mice). Four hours after the induction of hemorrhage, mice were killed and NF-{kappa}B activity was determined in the lung with EMSA. WT and MT represent oligonucleotides of wild-type and mutant NF-{kappa}B (Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Santa Cruz, CA) sequences, respectively. The data shown are representative of 3 independent experiments.
